A Cincinnati Tradition

Every year the last Wednesday night of May begins a 20+ year old tradition in Cincinnati's beautiful Ault Park- the points race with the same name as the park itself. For the next 5 or more weeks riders will vie for the ultimate prize of points every 5 laps for 40 laps in the 'a' race (double at the middle and final sprints) with a final overall total for the whole series. Tonight the team did pretty well taking spots one and two for for Pete and Eric respectively. We could have used the other John to help cover some of the moves, but will have to soldier on until his return.Me off the front for the 25 laps to go sprint.

A happy and tired crew after a hard night's work.

Tune into the next podcast for the audio report of the race.

Y'all are too modest!! I was at the race on Wed night and saw first hand that Team Huntington, while sparse in numbers, was the heavy-hitting team of the bunch - Pete and Eric taking places 1-2, respectively, and John K also in the top 10. It's no dobt that teammates Dr. Scott, J.R., Collin and Jim B are quickly findling their crit legs and will be major contributors in week #2. Furthermore, its needless to say had teammates Jeff, Tom and John G been in attendance, Huntington could have run spots 1-5, easily. Great job, guys - and keep those solo attacks comming! Cheering for you, SUPERFAN
